“ I haven't been to Cheri's in 4 years so I said let me bring my son for brunch for his birthday with my daughter. We had a great time as usual. Lemon drops to start I forgot to take a pic but was super strong but I'm a lightweight lol. The complimentary cornbread still on point drizzling with icing we placed order for the table being greedy lol. I opted for the catfish and grits my favorite still tasty no complaints at all. My son had the steak and eggs with cheese and grits he enjoyed as well. My daughter had the waffles with the peach cobbler she loved it. Overall great experience and exceptional customer service and we ended we Tequila shots again I'm a lightweight lol. Music always in my age range thanks ”
“ Pretty decent spot for brunch. The food is great! My whiting-fired fish and grits were amazing. My cousin had the fried chicken and it was nicely fried/seasoned. The only thing I would recommend is elevating the drinks. ”
“ What a beautiful visit! I found this place on Yelp, and I'm glad I went. Service was kind and prompt, and the music was nostalgic! Now onto the food, I had the whiting and grits with a spinach side salad along with a rum punch. Oh and an appetizer of the lollipop lamb chops! Everything was delicious from beginning to end. I can't wait to go back! ”
“ The food was delicious, garlic wings, you can taste the seasoning in every bite. Mac and cheese, was seasoned through and cheesy. The shrimp was very good and the salmon croquettes, it had a southern flavor. Service was awesome, the owner and her daughter in-law were pleasant. Ambiance was warm and welcoming, the music was great! Thanks for the Playlist My husband and I will be back! ”
“ The food was absolutely amazing. I dream about the fish and specialty grits (peach cobbler grits). The service was great attentive and told my friend and I about the secret grits and history about the restaurant. The restaurant is small very intimate but the ambiance was nice. I can't wait to visit again. ”
“ Was here a few months ago for take-out dinner. Got the fried catfish dinner (2 sides) w/ mac and cheese and house salad + arnold palmer drink + carrot cake slice. I came an hour before close so didn't expect theee most fresh food. Got a good dinner but I just know it'd hit way harder if I was there earlier. The piece of catfish was FAT. fried perfectly, crisssspy, needed way more seasoning though. I know the mac would have been amazing if it was hot/fresh. Wouldn't get the house salad again but I digress.. their carrot cake was so damn good. Love how they made it with long shredded carrot pieces. not saccharine, just decadent. The employees inside were so upbeat and friendly -- they made me feel very welcome! ”
